The GOES-R Series is a series of four geostationary satellites operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as part of the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) system. The GOES-R Series is the latest generation of GOES satellites, and it provides improved capabilities for monitoring weather, climate, and the environment.

The GOES-R Series satellites are equipped with a suite of instruments that collect data on a variety of atmospheric and environmental conditions. These instruments include:
