The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®) is an inter-governmental organization for the development of human capital through the provision of educational measurement, assessment, and certification services.

CXC® was established in 1972. Through its member governments and other partners, CXC® provides a wide range of examinations, certification and educational services to students of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and beyond.

CXC® is owned and operated by its 16 member countries, which are:

CXC® examinations are offered at the secondary and tertiary levels. The Council also offers a range of professional development services for teachers and administrators.
