Central Louisiana Federal Credit Union (CenlaFCU) is a financial institution headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana. With $761.1 million in assets and over 59,000 members, CenlaFCU is the largest credit union in Central Louisiana. CenlaFCU was founded in 1954 as the Alexandria Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union. The credit union's original field of membership was limited to employees of the City of Alexandria. However, over the years, CenlaFCU has expanded its field of membership to include residents of Rapides Parish, as well as employees of select businesses and organizations in the area. In 2005, CenlaFCU merged with the Rapides Parish Federal Credit Union, which further expanded its reach in Central Louisiana.
