Behold Vancouver is an initiative that uses art to connect and inspire people to create a more sustainable, just, and equitable city. We do this by providing opportunities for people to engage with art in public spaces, schools, and community centres. We also work with artists to create new works of art that reflect the values and aspirations of our city. Behold Vancouver is a registered charity and we rely on the support of our donors to continue our work. We are grateful for the support of our funders, including the City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Foundation, and the BC Arts Council.

Behold Vancouver was founded in 2010 by a group of artists and community activists who were concerned about the lack of opportunities for people to engage with art in public spaces. We believe that art has the power to transform lives and communities, and we are committed to making art accessible to everyone. We have worked with hundreds of artists over the years to create a wide range of public art projects, including murals, sculptures, installations, and performances.

Behold Vancouver is also a strong advocate for the arts. We believe that the arts are essential to a healthy and vibrant city, and we work to ensure that the arts are valued and supported by our city government and our community. We are a member of the BC Arts Council, the Canadian Arts Coalition, and the International Association of Art Critics.

We are proud of the work that we have done over the past 10 years, and we are excited to continue our work in the years to come. We believe that art has the power to change the world, and we are committed to using art to create a better Vancouver for everyone.
