Boston Athletic Association (BAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy and active living through running events and programs. BAA's mission is to inspire people of all ages and abilities to achieve their running goals and to create a sense of community among runners. BAA organizes the Boston Marathon, one of the world's most prestigious and challenging running events. BAA also organizes a number of other running events throughout the year, including the B.A.A. Half Marathon, the B.A.A. 5K, and the B.A.A. 10K. BAA also offers a number of running programs, including the B.A.A. Running Club, the B.A.A. High School Running Program, and the B.A.A. Youth Running Program. BAA is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, and has a staff of over 100 employees. BAA is a member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and the Association of Road Racing Statisticians (ARRS). BAA is also a founding member of the World Marathon Majors, a series of six of the world's most prestigious marathons. BAA is committed to providing runners of all ages and abilities with the resources and support they need to achieve their running goals.
