YWCA Greenwich is a 501 (c )(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and eliminating racism. Founded in 1878, YWCA Greenwich provides vital programs and services to women and their families in Greenwich and surrounding communities. YWCA Greenwich's mission is to empower women and girls to lead fulfilling and self-sufficient lives, free from violence, discrimination and poverty. With a strong commitment to social justice, YWCA Greenwich addresses the root causes of systemic inequality and works to create a more just and equitable society for all. YWCA Greenwich is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for women and girls of all ages, races, religions, and sexual orientations. YWCA Greenwich offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of women and their families, including:

• Domestic Violence Services: YWCA Greenwich provides a safe haven for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, as well as counseling, support groups, and legal advocacy. YWCA is Greenwich's only provider of emergency shelter for those fleeing domestic violence. We also offer a 24-hour hotline: 203.622.0003.
  


• Empowerment Programs: YWCA Greenwich offers a variety of programs to empower women and girls, including leadership development, financial literacy, and job training.
  


• Youth Programs: YWCA Greenwich provides a variety of programs for youth, including after-school programs, summer camps, and leadership development programs. We work with girls from all backgrounds to develop their leadership skills; promote self-esteem; and create a safe, supportive environment where girls can thrive.
  


• Racial Justice Programs: YWCA Greenwich is committed to racial justice and works to dismantle racism in all its forms. We offer a variety of programs and services to promote racial equity, including training, workshops, and community engagement.
