The Wildlife Trusts is a registered charity in the United Kingdom, founded in 1979. The purpose of the trust is "to promote the conservation and protection of wildlife and the natural environment in the United Kingdom". The trust is a federation of 47 independent local trusts which cover the whole of the UK. Each local trust is responsible for its own activities and fundraising, but they all share the same aims and objectives. The Wildlife Trusts is the largest voluntary organisation in the UK dedicated to wildlife conservation. It has over 800,000 members and supporters, and manages over 2,300 nature reserves covering more than 98,000 hectares. The trust also campaigns for the protection of wildlife and the environment, and provides education and advice on wildlife conservation.

The Wildlife Trusts is a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the European Wildlife and Nature Conservation Agency (EWNCA). It is also a partner in the Living Landscapes Partnership, a coalition of organisations working to create a network of wildlife-rich landscapes across the UK.
