The New Bridge School (NBS) is a dynamic and engaging learning community for students with learning differences. Our unique approach to education emphasizes individualized instruction, project-based learning, and a strong commitment to the arts. We believe that all students can learn and succeed and that every student has the potential to make a meaningful contribution to their community.

NBS was founded in 1971 by a group of parents who were frustrated with the lack of educational options for their children with learning differences. The school started with just 12 students and has since grown to serve over 150 students from preschool through high school. We are located in Hillsborough, California, on a beautiful 12-acre campus that includes a state-of-the-art academic building, a dedicated arts center, and a variety of outdoor learning spaces.

NBS is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).

Our faculty is composed of highly qualified and experienced educators who are passionate about working with students with learning differences. We offer a wide range of academic programs, including core subjects, electives, and specialized programs for students with specific learning needs. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and the arts.
