QF is a Qatari non-profit organization founded in 1995 by the Father Emir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. QF is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. QF's mission is to unlock human potential and drive sustainable development by fostering education, research, and community development.

QF is a leading organization in the field of education and research in the Middle East and North Africa region. QF's education ecosystem includes universities such as Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar Foundation International (QFI), and Education City.
