Sailing Center has been fostering sailing for close to 30 years by teaching sailing lessons to Bay Area residents. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing access to sailing for all. Come be a part of something bigger than yourself. Our classes and memberships are geared toward fostering community and enhancing lives. No matter your financial status, we want you to have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Bay. Sailing Center is proud to run the only public sailing center in San Francisco. We are committed to our mission: to create a welcoming and inclusive community by providing access to sailing for all, regardless of age, ability, or financial status. We offer comprehensive programming for adults, children, and families. Our programs are open to all ages, and are designed to fit the needs of our students. Our focus is on providing a fun and safe environment for people to learn to sail. We offer a variety of classes, from beginner to advanced, as well as private lessons and corporate events. We also have a number of membership options, which include access to our boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. Sailing Center is a great place to learn to sail, improve your skills, or just enjoy being on the water. We have a friendly and knowledgeable staff that is always willing to help. We also have a number of resources available online, including videos, articles, and a sailing blog.
