Roanoke College is a private liberal arts college in Salem, Virginia. Founded in 1842, Roanoke College is the tenth-oldest institution of higher education in Virginia and the third oldest institution in continuous operation in the state. The college enrolls approximately 2,000 students and offers more than 60 majors and minors. Roanoke College is a member of the Council of Independent Colleges and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Roanoke College's campus is located on a 125-acre hilltop overlooking the Roanoke Valley. The campus includes 30 buildings, including the administration building, Olin Hall, which is home to the college's library and technology center.
