Retail Council of Canada is a not-for-profit, industry-funded association that represents more than 45,000 storefronts of retail businesses across Canada. We are also proud to represent more than 600 supplier members. As the Voice of Retail™ in Canada, we proudly represent Canadian retailers – independently owned as well as חברות גלובליות – in every community across the country.

Our mission is to advance the retail industry through leadership, advocacy, research and networking. We are committed to helping our members succeed in an increasingly competitive and ever-changing retail landscape. We do this by providing our members with the resources, knowledge and connections they need to thrive.

We are a strong advocate for the retail industry on a variety of issues, including tax policy, labour relations, and trade. We also work closely with government and other stakeholders to develop policies that support the growth of the retail sector.

In addition to our advocacy work, we also provide our members with a variety of valuable services, including:

We are a proud member of the World Retail Congress and the National Retail Federation. We are also a founding member of the Retail Council of Canada Foundation.
