LSU Health Shreveport (LSUHSC) is a public academic medical center located in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. Its main campus covers 115 acres in the city's Highland neighborhood, with additional facilities located throughout northwest Louisiana. LSUHSC was founded in 1967 as the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, and has since grown to include schools of allied health professions, dentistry, graduate studies, nursing, and public health.
