Thoughts on Xplore? : r/CanadianBroadband - Reddit
Aug 23, 2023 · Bell and rogers both offering identical Fixed wireless internet service packages, $60/month 50mbps down 10mbps up, capped at 450GB, then slows down to 20 down and 4 up. I use a lot of data and will use that all up within 2 week. Only true unlimited option is Xplore offering their LTE service with 50mbps down and 10 up but with no data caps for
Reddit.comXplornet, Canada's worst internet. : r/canada - Reddit
Jun 13, 2018 · Xplornet, Canada's worst internet. "High speed internet for rural areas" "We promise our packages will be reliable and high speed" oh give me a break please. This internet is overpriced, unreliable, and they break the Net Neutrality law very often behind the scenes. Recently, I moved out to a more rural area where the only ISP is Xplornet.
Reddit.comAnyone use xplornet 5G internet? : r/newbrunswickcanada - Reddit
Nov 5, 2023 · Former Xplornet employee here; both customer service AND tech support. The 5G would fall under LTE service (cell tower). This IS better than satellite as others have mentioned. In part because of data amounts, and also because of price. LTE will always be the better option unless fibre is available.
Reddit.comAnyone having issues with XPLORNET, please read. : r/canada
Feb 22, 2019 · Hello. If you are having issues with Xplornet wireless internet as well, I think its time we do something about it as consumers. Bottom line with this company is they over sell their towers, to the point where the service is simply non existent (sub 100 kbps). It doesnt matter how good your signal is, or how close you are to the tower because
Reddit.comXplornet LTE reviews : r/ontario - Reddit
Jan 13, 2021 · Xplornet LTE reviews. Live in a rural area. Had explornet satellite in the past and it was service was horrible. Switched to Rogers hub and etc is bearable (not great) but hella expensive! $120 for 50gig (heavy user) then $2/gig above that. Considering the xplornet LTE but still how reservations due to how bad the satellite net was
Reddit.comXplornet LTE now offering reliable rural internet! GIVE ME A BREAK
Nov 8, 2016 · I have Xplornet simply because they are the only service we can get. I am seriously considering putting up a $15,000 tower to xplorenet other options. Let me give you an example of how other rural internet companies work. You can ask a lot of them, and they will tell you, "Ya we do over sell our towers, but only by %20!" This is actually good.
Reddit.comQuestion about you Xplorenet : r/ottawa - Reddit
Dec 9, 2021 · Question about you xplorenet. I’m moving away from Kanata and looking at house mostly in the east end, Clarence-Rockland to like Casselman area. I work primarily from home and a lot of the houses we’ve gone to see have little to no service from any major provider. I’m wondering if xplorenet can consistently deliver the speeds they are
Reddit.comXplornet speeds. 25 lte bundle this is a joke : r/ontario - Reddit
Aug 18, 2021 · Currently in LTE 25 mbps package and getting 7-8 mbps. The interesting observation, I’ve never exceeded 1 mbps upload, and your speed test shows nearly double. I'm on 25 lte and have a 100 dollar router. Funny the upload is better than download. Netflix sometimes looks like it was filmed on a toaster lol like 144p.
Reddit.comDoes anyone actually like Xplornet? : r/CanadianBroadband - Reddit
Aug 23, 2020 · Maybe both. Three people I know that live close to my area have Xplornet. One of them says he uses a terabyte of data per month with no issue, no throttle, and has speeds from 12Mbps to 50Mbps, using their LTE service, and has been happy with them. Two others, including a neighbour on my road, use their satellite service and say it has a 100GB
Reddit.comXplornet, worth the switch? : r/PEI - Reddit
They ported their landline to their lte service as well, and while it works, it's not as clear as landline and sometimes cuts out or garbles a bit. If your getting 6mbps now xplorenet lte might be an improvement but not overly drastic. Depends on youre LOS and proximity to the tower and other factors. 2. oneofapair.
