Mar 11, 2012 · Move both seats to their most forward position. There are 6 plastic press studs: 2 towards the bottom of the centre and 2 at each edge. Pull the rubber door seal away from the edge of the T-Bar and then ease the edge of the T-Bar towards the front of the car. It requires a bit of effort but be careful NOT to wrench it or you can crack the T-Bar!

Oct 21, 2024 · So I start to remove it, out with the t-bar, soft top, seats, seat belts, centre console, air filter box, remove fuel filler, rear carpet, rear bulkhead insulation, rear bulkhead panel. now according the the workshop manual all I have to do is remove the tank..well the damned thing is bigger than the hole it is supposed to come out of!

Is a bit fiddly, and the rod can play tricks on you to get in the wrong angle. So before mounting the handle in the door, through the hole pre-position the barrel so it is in the right position.
