Altrom Parts at Napa-Decent Quality? - TDIClub Forums
WEBOct 3, 2005 · Dec 18, 2012. #1. It seems the Canadian tdiclub members have been fairly pleased with altrom parts. (altrom has been available there longer then in the US.) We can get them in the US via Napa and the prices seem to be pretty good. I'm seeking opinions on the general quality of altrom parts in the US. I assume they are the same parts that the
Forums.tdiclub.comSidem parts - any good? | TDIClub Forums
WEBApr 18, 2019 · altrom line of stuff is generally 'better than aftermarket without going OEM' in my opinion. Just keep the receipt for warranty is all. Napa is usually pretty easy going with their warranties.
Forums.tdiclub.comShould I replace my oil pump and chain? - TDIClub Forums
WEBAug 1, 2010 · altrom isn't exactly a brand name, and the guys at NAPA usually have no way of telling what brand the parts will be. It could very well be a german brand like Meyle or it could be a cheap chinese reman pump.. I've gotten sets of tie rods in the altrom line for MK4 cars where the left side was German (Meyle) and the right side was Chinese..

WEBMar 14, 2004 · Reading through the process of replacing the heater core - I'd rather tackle rebuilding the transmission! On my wife's Volvo, replacing the heater core is about a 1 hour job. Remove a side panel near the gas pedal, disconnect coolant lines, slide out old core, slide in new core, connect lines, close panel.

Forums.tdiclub.com09A fluid change - TDIClub Forums
WEBFeb 5, 2011. #1. I have a 04 Jetta TDI (90,000 miles) with an 09A 5 spd. I've seen procedures for changing the fluid on the 01M but, nothing on the 09A. I have a Bentley Service Manual that covers the above vehicle. But, of course, it has nothing about changing the fluid or filter on the 09A. And I am not buying the "lifetime no maintenance

WEBJul 25, 2010. #1. Hi. I have a '98 Jetta TDI with 196,000 and there is oil leaking from where the crankcase breather tube connects to the crankcase and also from where the tube connects to the air intake. I took a look at the breather tube between the air intake and the ccv filter and also at the ccv filter and there doesn't seem to be an

WEBOct 25, 2009 · What brand coolant temp sensor should I get, beck/arnley, bwd/intermotor, echlin, or altrom? The first 2 are sold at advance auto, the last 2 at napa. All 4 are green. I also have an autozone and a oreily auto to check if necessary. I would just buy it online, but mine just went on the fritz last night and i'm going on a 400 mile trip this weekend.
