FOX36 is a local television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, affiliated with the Fox Broadcasting Company. The station is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and maintains studios on North Green Bay Road in the city's Sherman Park neighborhood; its transmitter is located on West Greenfield Avenue in West Allis. FOX36 serves Milwaukee County and surrounding areas, including Racine, Kenosha, and Waukesha counties in Wisconsin and Lake County, Illinois.

The station first signed on the air on September 1, 1983, as WVTV, an independent station owned by Veritas Broadcasting. The station originally operated from studios on West Capitol Drive in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley neighborhood. In 1986, WVTV was sold to Park Communications, which changed the station's call letters to WCGV and adopted a general entertainment format. In 1994, Park Communications sold WCGV to Sinclair Broadcast Group, which changed the station's call letters to WITI and affiliated it with Fox.

In 2006, Sinclair Broadcast Group purchased WCGV, a low-power station in Milwaukee that had been affiliated with The WB, and merged its operations with WITI. The combined station retained the WITI call letters and Fox affiliation, while WCGV's WB affiliation was moved to a new digital subchannel of WITI.

In 2012, Sinclair Broadcast Group purchased WISN, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee, from Hearst Television. Sinclair then moved WISN's operations into WITI's studios and merged the two stations' news operations. The combined station retained the WITI call letters and Fox affiliation, while WISN's ABC affiliation was moved to a new digital subchannel of WITI.

Today, FOX36 is one of the most-watched television stations in the Milwaukee market. The station produces a variety of local news, weather, and sports programming, including the popular morning show "Good Day Wisconsin." FOX36 also airs a variety of syndicated programming, including talk shows, sitcoms, and dramas.
