Ferguson Library is a public library system in Stamford, Connecticut. Founded in 1894 as The Ferguson Library, it is named for its benefactor, Cyrus Ferguson, Jr. The library system consists of four branches, including the Main Library, the Harry Bennett Branch, the Turn of River Branch, and the South End Branch. The Main Library, located at 96 Broad Street in downtown Stamford, houses the library's administrative offices and a collection of over 500,000 items, including books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. The Harry Bennett Branch, located at 336 Scofieldtown Road in the Scofieldtown neighborhood, offers a collection of over 100,000 items, as well as a computer lab and meeting rooms. The Turn of River Branch, located at 1054 Newfield Avenue in the Turn of River neighborhood, offers a collection of over 50,000 items, as well as a computer lab and a children's room. The South End Branch, located at 304 Shippan Avenue in the South End neighborhood, offers a collection of over 25,000 items, as well as a computer lab and a children's room.
