DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is a career and technical student organization that prepares high school students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA has over 200,000 members in more than 3,000 schools across the United States. The organization offers a variety of programs and activities to help students develop their skills and knowledge in these areas. DECA also provides opportunities for students to compete in state and national competitions. DECA is a valuable organization for students who are interested in pursuing a career in business. The organization provides a variety of resources and opportunities that can help students succeed in their studies and careers.

DECA's mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA enhances the preparation of marketing, management and entrepreneurship students through the application of classroom concepts through authentic, project based learning experiences such as DECA's Competitive Events Program.

DECA's Competitive Events Program provides students the opportunity to compete in over 50 events in five career clusters: Marketing, Business Management and Administration, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism, and Entrepreneurship. DECA's Competitive Events help prepare students for college, careers, and life by providing opportunities to apply learning in contextual situations, develop communication skills, demonstrate leadership, and solve problems.

DECA'S Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) division provides high school students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore career options, network with professionals, and gain real-world experience through its competitive events program and chapter activities. DECA's CTSO division is supported by a network of business and industry partners who provide resources and support to DECA students and chapters.
