Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion is a research and advisory center that supports financial inclusion for the poor and underserved around the world. We work with financial service providers, policymakers, and researchers to develop and promote innovative solutions that expand access to financial services and improve the lives of the poor.

We are a global organization with offices in the United States, India, and Kenya. Our team of experts has decades of experience in financial inclusion research, policy, and practice. We work with a wide range of partners, including banks, credit unions, microfinance institutions, governments, and NGOs.

Our work is focused on four key areas:

• Research: We conduct research on the latest trends and issues in financial inclusion. Our research informs our policy and advisory work, and helps us to identify and develop new solutions to the challenges of financial inclusion.



• Policy: We work with policymakers to develop and implement policies that support financial inclusion. Our policy work focuses on creating a more enabling environment for financial service providers, and on protecting the rights of the poor and underserved.



• Advisory: We provide advisory services to financial service providers and other organizations working to promote financial inclusion. Our advisory work helps our partners to develop and implement innovative solutions that expand access to financial services and improve the lives of the poor.



• Capacity Building: We provide training and technical assistance to financial service providers, policymakers, and other organizations working to promote financial inclusion. Our capacity building work helps our partners to develop the skills and knowledge they need to effectively promote financial inclusion.
