Beyond Toxics is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental health organization based in Seattle, Washington. The organization was founded in 1993 by three women who were concerned about the health effects of toxic chemicals on their families and communities. Beyond Toxics works to protect public health and the environment by promoting the adoption of safer alternatives to toxic chemicals. The organization's work focuses on four main areas:
