Athlete Ally is a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 by Hudson Taylor, a former professional cyclist. The organization's mission is to end the rampant homophobia and transphobia in sports and to ensure that LGBTQIA+ people can participate in sports at all levels without fear of discrimination or exclusion.

Athlete Ally works to achieve its mission through a variety of programs and initiatives, including:

Athlete Ally has been recognized for its work by a number of organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and GLAAD. In 2019, Athlete Ally was awarded the ESPY Award for Best Advocacy Campaign.
