Alice Hyde is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. At the intersection of social practice and conceptual art, Alice Hyde's work spans across performance, sculpture, video, sound, and writing. She is known for her work that explores themes of memory, loss, and the body. Alice Hyde uses sugar as a material and metaphor to explore the social and political implications of food and its production.

Alice Hyde has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Artforum, and Frieze.

In addition to being an artist, Alice Hyde is also an educator. She has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles; the California Institute of the Arts; and the Otis College of Art and Design. She is currently a professor in the Department of Art at the University of Southern California.
