Oconto County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,364. Its county seat is Oconto. The county was created in 1851 and is named after the Oconto River, which flows through the county.

The county is located in northeastern Wisconsin and is bordered by Lake Michigan to the east, Marinette County to the north, Oconto County to the west, and Brown County to the south. The county has a total area of 1,020 square miles (2,642 km²), of which 944 square miles (2,445 km²) is land and 76 square miles (197 km²) (7.4%) is water.

The county is home to several state parks and forests, including the Oconto County Forest, the largest county forest in Wisconsin. The county is also home to several lakes and rivers, including the Oconto River, the Peshtigo River, and the Wolf River.
